IT Job Board launches Facebook contest
£250 in prize money up for grabs in the Facebook-based competition to find Britain's top IT brain.
The IT Job Board has turned to Facebook in order to find the UK's best technical brain for a new.
By launching a new group on the social networking site the IT recruitment firm hopes to attract interest in its Great IT Challenge, which will run until the end of the month.
Those lured by the offer of 250 prize money, plus online and iTunes vouchers for runners up, will have to answer eight questions on a range of tech topics. The overall winner will then be selected at random from the pool of correct responses.
"It is an opportunity to show off their knowledge and engage with like-minded people via a popular social network," said said Aarti Gohil, marketing and communications executive at IT Job Board.
