T-Mobile unveils mobile broadband share dock
It’s good to share, according to T-Mobile as it launches a new mobile broadband sharing tool.
T-Mobile has launched a new device that lets mobile broadband users share their connection with others.
The new mobile broadband share dock, which supports two or three users for no additional fees, is available for free to those committing to a 18 month, 20 a month contract, with a fair usage cap of 3GB.
The dock behaves just like a fixed line wireless modem does, enabling multi user simultaneous use of the same password-protected T-Mobile mobile broadband stick.
"Mobile Broadband has experienced huge growth across the market. And as its popularity grows, we engage with our customers to continually improve and provide them with exactly the service they want," said Richard Warmsley, T-Mobile UK's head of internet and entertainment.
"One of the key insights that came back from users was the desire to share the connection with friends and relatives. The Share Dock makes this a reality in a straight forward and simple way," he said.
The availability of T-Mobile's exclusively designed share dock follows the launch of a
similar routerby fellow mobile operator 3.
