Ex-Vodafone boss tipped as next Yahoo CEO
Arun Sarin, the former chief executive of the mobile phone giant is being lined up as a potential successor to Jerry Yang at Yahoo.

Following the departure of Jerry Yang from the chief executives's chair at Yahoo, headhunters are lining up former Vodafone boss Arun Sarin as a potential replacement.
According to a report in The Wall Street Journal Yahoo's directors are moving closer to a recommendation and have authorised checking references on a few key candidates, including Sarin.
Yahoo could not be immediately reached for comment.
The names of several executives of leading technology and media companies have been floating around as possible replacements for Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang.
Yang agreed to resign as chief executive last month after investors criticised him for management missteps. The company said at the time that it was hiring executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles.
