Zoho Mobile across more platforms
Zoho has made its mobile apps available across a range of popular platforms.
Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company Zoho announced on its blog yesterday that it is making its range of applications available across several mobile platforms.
Zoho Mobile is downloadable for free from its website and includes apps like Zoho Mail, Zoho Calender and Zoho Writer.
Raju Vegesna, from Zoho, said: "As we have a broad set of users using our apps, we had to support multiple platforms. As each of these platforms are different, we had to maintain the balance of having the features available and making the interface look consistent across all apps."
The apps are supported on the iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile and Symbian S60 platforms, with plans to make them available on more platforms in the future, including Palm.
Vegesna said: "Zoho Mobile will carry all our future mobile initiatives. In the current version, we offer web apps for our key apps. We plan to expand these to our business applications like CRM, Invoice, Projects etc."
Zoho Mobile can also be accessed in Japanese and the company has plans to make it available in more languages.
