UK awaiting HTC Hero's imminent arrival?
There is some ambiguity over when eager mobile phone users will be able to get their hands on the new Android-powered HTC Hero.
The latest Android-powered phone on the market, the HTC Hero, has become somewhat of a moveable feast, with its launch date seemingly moving yet again by a week or a month depending on who you speak to.
Earlier this month, it was anticpated that the handset would arrive around about now. That has since been pushed back to next week, according to the Expansys website.
However, Amazon is a little less optimistic about the Hero's arrival, instead suggesting that the phone will launch on 15 August.
HTC had not responded to our requests to confirm the handset's official launch date at the time of publication.
