NetSuite iPhone app
Cloud computing company NetSuite gives access on the move with a new mobile application.
NetSuite today announced the launch of a mobile application, enabling its users to access their enterprise resource planning (ERP) dashboards via their phones.
The free app, available for the iPhone as of today - with older versions available on Windows Mobile and BlackBerry platforms - enables users to access real-time operational information that they would historically only be able to access via a desktop PC.
Elliott Rabin, president of Ridout Plastics one of NetSuite's customers said in a statement: "This is a great release by NetSuite. Access is very fast overall, and trend graphs are much faster than through a browser."
The app features access to dashboards, the NetSuite calendar, products and customer records. A key benefit is the fact that the app on the phone reflects any customisation customers may have carried out on the main application, according to NetSuite. It also has extra elements such as click-to-email and click-to-maps.
The app is available to download from the Apple app store now.
