Packard Bell unveils multi-touch swivel laptop
Packard Bell has announced its latest high end laptop, due to hit the shelves in late February with a price tag of £500.
Packard Bell has revealed its latest premium laptop featuring multi-touch capabilities and a stylish swivelling screen.
The EasyNote Butterfly Touch Edition can be used as both a laptop and tablet PC with its 180 degree rotational screen adjusting to fit the user's preference.
Screen size comes in at 11.6in with 1366 x 768 pixels screen resolution and a full size keyboard but, even though it is of laptop proportions, it benefits from a netbook style battery life with six cells lasting up to eight hours.
Installed with Windows 7 Home Premium, the laptop has a 640MB hard disk drive, plus up to 4GB RAM.
It weighs in at less than 1.6kg and comes with built in Wi-Fi, a microphone, VGA webcam, optional 3G module and optional Bluetooth as well as a 5-in-1 card reader and HDMI port.
The new product will be available towards the end of February at around the 500 mark.
