Infortrend launches EonNAS storage products
Two new products featuring NAS and iSCSI connectivity have been launched by Infortrend.

Infortrend has launched two new unified storage systems for small and medium businesses.
The new EonNAS family range, the EonNAS 3200 and EonNAS 5100, both feature combined network attached storage (NAS) and iSCSI connectivity to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) simplify storage and server consolidation.
Thomas Kao, product planning and global marketing director at Infortrend, said in a statement: "At affordable prices, these multi-protocol systems help SMBs deal with growing amounts of data that need to be stored longer, protected and managed more efficiently."
He added: "With EonNAS, SMBs no longer have to compromise on business competitiveness because of limited budgets and staff."
The EonNAS 3200 is an entry level device aimed at the smaller business or branch offices for larger companies whereas the EonNAS 5100 is designed for the medium sized organisation, offering support for SSD drives to improve performance.
