Nokia booklet goes on sale in UK
Nokia’s Booklet 3G has gone on sale in the UK today but with a hefty price tag.
Nokia has started selling its Booklet 3G in the UK but fans of the manufacturer may be put off by the less than generous price.
The netbook, or "mini-laptop," is now available via the company's website for 649, which at least includes standard three to five day delivery, but is more than double the average netbook price in the UK.
The device is available in the US for only $599 (383) and also can be bought as part of a bundle from AT&T, unlike this side of the Atlantic where it is not thought any carrier will take it on.
The price may be controversial but the 1.6GHz Atom Z530 processor, 10.1in LCD display, 1GB RAM, 120GB hard drive and Windows 7 will undoubtedly still draw some buyers in.
