Android fans have another reason to get excited this week as the just-announced HTC Desire handset - widely dubbed the Nexus Two - is now available to pre order.
T-Mobile has already confirmed it will be supporting the device on its network from the end of March, while Orange will be following suit in April. Now it's available to pre order, giving an indication as to its affordability level when it officially arrives.
The Mobilephonesdirect website is offering users the chance to get their name down for the device, and quoting a 30 a month tariff from T-Mobile. The website also claims that the first stock won't hit the UK until 1 April - although you have to sign up for two years to get that deal.
"At its essence, the mobile phone is the most personal item you have in your possession. HTC Sense was created to magnify your ability to create and define your own unique mobile experience," HTC's chief executive Peter Chou said in a statement when the handset was unveiled last week at Mobile World Congress.
"HTC Legend and HTC Desire take Android to another level in both substance with HTC Sense and style with HTC Legend's revolutionary crafted aluminum uni-body design."
