HP takes dig at iPad with slate Flash support
HP just wants to remind everyone that its tablet PC will be able to run Adobe's Flash.

HP has taken a dig at Apple's iPad, pointing out that its own as-yet un-named slate computer will actually be able to make use of Adobe Flash.
Announced at CES in January, the HP slate doesn't have a release date as yet. Apple's iPad is due next month, but like the iPhone before it, won't include support for Adobe Flash, which is used across much of the web.
Saying he could only unveil a few details without angering his boss, Phil McKinney, chief technology officer of HP's personal systems group made sure it was clear the slate would run Flash.
"With this slate product, you're getting a full web browsing experience in the palm of your hand," he wrote in a blog post. "No watered-down internet, no sacrifices."
Noting that online commentors had asked about Flash support, he said: "A big bonus for the slate product is that, being based off Windows 7, it offers full Adobe support."
To prove it, the post included the following video showing Adobe's Alan Tam playing videos, games and editing photos:
