Tonight, millions of people around the UK will be planning their perfect Friday night. It may be a takeaway and Strictly Come Dancing on the TV or a huge night on the tiles, but at the end of the evening, they will be curling up in their nice warm beds at home.
Unfortunately for some, this isn't an option. This year alone, 75,000 young people will be sleeping rough on the streets of the UK.
Thanks to homeless charity Action for Children, some of these people will find help from project centres and initiatives around the country, but to fund the great work they do providing secure accommodation, training, education and even employment they need our help.
Once a year, across five cities, the tech industry plays its part and spends one night sleeping rough to raise money for the charity, raising an impressive 2.5 million since 1998.
Tonight Tom and Jennifer from IT PRO, along with colleagues from Know Your Mobile will be taking part in the sponsored sleep out known as Byte Night on the streets of London and we are looking to our readers to help us raise as much money as possible.
If you are able to spare any amount of money to sponsor our team, it really will make a difference to the lives of vulnerable young people in the UK.
