Head of Symbian Foundation resigns
Personal reasons cited for the departure of Lee Williams from his post as executive director.

The man at the top of the Symbian Foundation has resigned his post with little explanation of the move.
Lee M Williams, who was executive director for two years, has not released his own statement but instead given the task to Steve Warner, head of HR at Symbian, to offer a vague account of his reasoning.
"The Symbian Foundation is today announcing that Lee M Williams has stepped down from his position as executive director for personal reasons," said Warner. "We thank Lee for his work over the past two years and wish him all the best in his future ventures."
Williams came to the foundation after heading up Nokia's S60 organisation. Before this he was the head of product development and delivery at Palm.
His resignation has been accepted with immediate effect and his post will be taken over by current chief financial officer (CFO) Tim Holbrow by decision of the board of directors. "We congratulate Tim and welcome him to his new role," added Warner.
