Sky has announced it plans to hire an extra 100 staff to join its technology team in Scotland.
The permanent jobs will be based at its Livingston offices and build on the existing customer business systems division responsible for giving tech support for Sky products and services.
The company confirmed it was looking for employees with varying levels of experience, including juniors and graduates, but a number of senior positions would also be available including technical test analysts, Java developers and project managers.
"Groundbreaking technology is at the very heart of our business, so we want to recruit only the very best to help us [deliver this]," said Scott Mackay, director of the customer business systems at Sky.
"We want to tempt high calibre bright sparks who are the very best in their profession to build a long-term career with us."
Benefits for employees include free Sky+HD and broadband, in addition to full training.
This is the second boost to Scotland's technology industry in a matter of days. On Friday, a new 89 million Glasgow-based technology centre was announced, which looks set to create 700 jobs and boost the country's economy by 100 million.
