With Microsoft announcing that it will stop supporting Windows XP on 8 April 2014, businesses will have to start migrating to the Windows 7 operating system over the next two years.
Of the businesses planning to migrate to Windows 7 in the next 12 months, 47 per cent have stated that they will purchase and deploy new PCs. For many IT departments, PC deployment can be a troublesome process that can divert staff from their primary responsibilities. The demand on help desks can also increase as many employees experience problems post deployment.
