Meetupcall debuts LinkedIn integration
Conference call service provider unveils social media plug-in.

UK-based Meetupcall has launched a conference call service that lets people connect with each other using their LinkedIn profiles.
The service allows conference call users see each others' photos and job titles. It also provides them with location-specific dial-in details based on the contents of their LinkedIn profile.
Simon Moxon, the company's founder, said: "Speaking on a conference call, if you've never met the delegates, can be confusing.
"Putting a face to name can also be useful when the call is to be followed by a face-to-face meeting," he added.
Users can also choose to be called before the scheduled start time or take advantage of one-click dialing from their smartphone.
