Microsoft named best place to work by UK graduates
Software giant leads way in poll that crowned IT industry as best place to find work for graduates.

Software giant Microsoft has been named as the best company for UK graduates to work at in a poll by career review site TheJobCrowd.com.
The website asked graduates to rank their company in a variety of categories including responsibility, progression opportunities, colleague interaction, training, work-life balance and benefits.
The company scored highly on progression, culture and training with the 3,000 graduates who took part in the survey.
The IT industry, as a whole, also topped the poll as the best business sector to work in, scoring highly with respondents who said it offered a good work-life balance and colleague interaction.
"Careers in IT are perhaps traditionally seen as bit nerdy and boring but our results show this couldn't be further from the truth in fact their graduates are the most satisfied in Britain," says Keren Mitchell, co-founder of TheJobCrowd.com.
Other IT companies ranked in the Top 100 Guide include FDM Group, CHP Consulting, Softwire, Atos, RM Education, IBM, BAE Systems Detica, Capgemini, PA Consulting Group, and Intel.
