Vodafone teams up with Nova International and JustGiving
Partnership aims to generate more sponsorships via mobile donations.

Nova International, an event management and sports marketing agency, is teaming up with JustGiving and JustTextGiving by Vodafone to help expand its fundraising outreach.
This partnership, which is set to run for three years, will increase fundraising for Nova International's event series, which attract about 225,000 participants a year.
"We're very proud to be partnering with Nova International and working together on some of the most popular fundraising challenges in the UK," said Howard Bell, the director of partnerships at JustGiving.
JustGiving and JustTextGiving by Vodafone give Nova International access to fundraising donations via text messaging, social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter and smartphone applications.
"This is a very exciting development for JustTextGiving by Vodafone, as we will be helping thousands of individuals to boost their fundraising using text donations," said Clare Jones-Leake, the head of Giving Something Back for Vodafone UK.
"This will be the first time for many, as they add text to their fundraising efforts and see the benefits of quick, easy spur of the moment donations which are free to send with 100 per cent of the donation being passed to their charity," she continued.
Prior to this partnership, JustGiving has been a part of fundraising efforts for more than 20,000 Nova event participants a year. In fact, JustGiving.com helped Nova's Bupa Great North Run participates raise more than 6 million for good causes in 2012.
