Hybrid cloud and communications specialist Node4 has appointed Hannah Birch as the managing director of its digital services business.

In an announcement, the Derby-based MSP said Birch will work to strengthen its strategic partnership with Microsoft and help integrate the company’s recent acquisitions of Risual, TNP, and Tisski. She also takes a position on the board.

Node4 CEO Andrew Gilbert highlighted Birch’s ability to drive transformational growth strategies and create “deeper, value-based relationships with clients”.

“With our recent acquisitions and the broadening of our partnership with Microsoft, Hannah is the right person to lead the integration of our digital team and continue to build on our reputation as a technology leader in this space,” he said.

Birch joins Node4 from Ensono, having spent the last two years leading the global MSP’s European business as managing director. There, she worked towards sustainable and profitable growth by focusing on team engagement, client value, business alignment, and harnessing technology and innovation

Prior to that, she spent 11 years at Accenture, where she led the firm’s UK technology business for insurance and was a member of the technology leadership team for the UK and Ireland.

During her time at the professional services giant, Birch held several leadership positions and was responsible for creating and leading high-performing teams, executing business and technology transformations, as well as driving technology innovation for clients.

She began her career at fuel behemoth BP and later took on leadership positions at Fujitsu Services UK and Computacenter.

“I am so excited to join Node4, one of the few service providers that meets organisations at an inflection point where they are looking to leverage technology to drive transformational change to their business,” Birch said.

“The group capabilities, strengthened with that of the recent acquisitions, makes us a one-stop shop for our clients.

“In my new role, I look forward to working with the Node4 leadership team as we continue to show our clients what is possible with technology and help accelerate Node4’s growth ambition in the years ahead.”
