BT Wholesale unveils new three-tier Partner Plus programme
Changes aim to address demand for marketing resources and greater association with the BT brand

BT has announced its new Partner Plus channel programme for its Wholesale division, which has been designed to help partners boost growth and better serve their customers.
Built using a three-tier system, the initiative aims to make it easier for partners to collaborate and integrate with BT Wholesale’s suite of experts and services, the telecoms firm says.
With a focus on simplicity and flexibility, BT Partner Plus has been constructed to bring a host of benefits for Wholesale partners, including business support, marketing resources, and productivity gains.
“Our Partner Plus programme is an exciting step change in how we do business with our BT Wholesale partner community,” commented Alex Tempest, managing director of BT Wholesale.
“As Europe’s largest Wholesale provider, it’s really important for us to lean into customer feedback on more simple ways of working with our business, and our Partner Plus programme does just that; providing easy access to resources, more personalised support and a brilliant digital customer experience.”
Partner Plus is made up of three tiers – Partner, Premium and Elite – with each offering varying benefits, organised by a simple points-based system.
Each tier now offers a greater range of benefits which will be delivered through BT Wholesale’s new Partner Plus Hub, including commercial support and marketing resources, learning tools built by industry experts, and access to exclusive events.

With the new programme, the firm says it is responding to demand from more than 70% of its partners, who asked for more brand association with BT Wholesale. For the first time, eligible members can now qualify to use the Wholesale brand in their marketing communications to demonstrate their partner status.
Internet telephony service provider and ISP, Spitfire, has become the first organisation to officially join the Partner Plus Elite programme.
“We’re thrilled to be recognised as BT Wholesale’s first Elite partner as part of its Partner Plus programme,” said Harry Bowlby, Managing Director of Spitfire. “As an Elite partner, we’re now able to provide additional reassurance to existing and new customers that they are partnering with an established and trustworthy business.”
