Exinda builds channel team

Exinda is adding to its channel-facing sales team as part of a plan to ratchet up revenues and market share in the WAN optimisation, network control & visibility across EMEA.

The Boston-based vendor says it’s five-strong UK-based inside sales team – led by EMEA inside sales manager, Tanya Smith – is being targeted to drive qualified, high-value opportunities for channel partners.

“Exinda has all the right ingredients to really shake up this market,” says Smith, who is also ex-Dell and Brocade.

The exec claims that while the enterprise has changed significantly in the last couple of years, “no-one except us has kept pace with the challenges and really stayed relevant to customers and partners.”

Smith, along with two business development and two inside sales executives in place, is also planning further hires to the EMEA team, with people responsible for Benelux, France and South Africa due to join.

“The team we’re building is smart and tenacious; we’ve set some tough targets and we’re taking it one quarter at a time,” says Karl Barton, VP of sales, EMEA at Exinda.

“Customers have been disillusioned with the lack of innovation in the WAN optimisation market, and its inability to help them see and control the traffic on their networks in one simple integrated system. Exinda is innovating and that’s why we’re creating such a strong pipeline of opportunities.”
