In an increased focus and investment in marketing, Westcon Convergence has selected industry veteran, John Richardson as marketing director for the UK and Ireland.
Richardson, previously of BT, Cisco and Polycom, is tasked with demonstrating the company’s value add to both resellers and vendors.
“Distribution is becoming a more prevalent route to market in the channel with the increase of complex multi-vendor UC solutions and vendors that have less resource available to manage resellers,” says Richardson.
“In addition to a best-in-class portfolio, logistics and operations, Westcon has an excellent reputation for sales and marketing and has robust relationships with both vendors and resellers. I am delighted to be onboard.”
