Data Practitioners appoints Chris Ward as head of product

Expanding throughout the globe

Data Practitioners has announced the appointment of Chris Ward as its new head of product, as the London-based technology firm looks to accelerate its global business.

With 17 years’ experience of bringing advanced technology products to global markets across a range of sectors, Ward has worked with leading tech businesses in Europe, North America and Asia, including industry giants such as Samsung and Philips.

He joins the firm after a period of consulting for a number of technology companies, with his most recent role focusing on data analytics and the cloud.

Having worked closely with teams to build technology ventures from concept through to exit, the new head of product also boasts experience of leading geographically-distributed development and delivery teams to architect, engineer, deliver and support their products.

“Today, we find ourselves in the midst of a data revolution so vast, pervasive and dynamic that businesses need experts to help them navigate their way through the opportunities,” said David Marshall, CEO at Data Practitioners. “Having someone of Chris’ calibre as a key member of the leadership team will be invaluable as we accelerate our business.”

On top of his start-up expertise, Ward also adds the experience of working with a number of organisations in areas such as data analytics, cloud infrastructure, enterprise systems integration and strategic transformation.

“I’m delighted to be joining the world-class team at Data Practitioners,” Ward said. “The firm’s industry-leading blend of data optimisation, AI and behavioural science is undoubtedly the way forward for businesses that wish to remain at the forefront of marketing techniques.”
