Nuvias Group appoints Simon England as CEO
The high-value distributor looks to grow its influence in Britain
Nuvias Group has announced the appointment of Simon England as its new CEO, as the pan-EMEA high-value distributor looks to grow its influence in the region.
Starting from 1 April, England is tasked with taking Nuvias into the next phase of its development, the company said, pushing the business to become Europe’s leading high-value distributor and accelerating growth and impact for partners.
With 30 years’ experience in developing and leading businesses in the value-added distribution space, England’s previous role saw him lead the development of new business segments and models for Tech Data as SVP of Next Generation Technologies. Prior to that, he also helped expand the company’s Azlan, Datech and Maverick brands as SVP of Value Added Business.
“Nuvias is exceptionally positioned in a market which continues to grow strongly and is transforming how IT services are securely delivered and consumed,” England said.
“Nuvias has a unique set of assets, from its expertise and reputation to its partner network and portfolio of market-leading vendors and services.
“I am excited about the opportunity to build on these foundations and lead the senior management team to take Nuvias to its aggregate potential in EMEA.”
Nuvias has brought together award-winning channel businesses across cybersecurity, advanced networking and unified communications under the leadership of Paul Eccleston, helping to establish the firm as Europe’s leading challenger in the high-value distribution landscape.
