Digital performance company Riverbed has announced the appointment of Remco Postma as its new channel director for Northern Europe, as the firm looks to further drive growth in the region.
Reporting Paul Higley, VP of Northern Europe, Postma will be responsible for Riverbed’s regional channel strategy and the expansion of its partner landscape in the area, in line with its overarching global channel ambitions.
Those plans encompass several key initiatives, the company explained, including the recruitment of strategic partners that will focus on Digital Experience Management, as well as the continued development of the business’ SD-WAN footprint with a subset of existing Riverbed Rise partners.
Over the next twelve months, Postma will also play an instrumental role in helping to increase Riverbed’s partner-initiated business, as well as helping to drive closer engagement between field sales and some selective partner organisations.

With 24 years of experience in the IT industry, Postma has held previous roles at Dimension Data, AppSense and Intel Security, where he was responsible for leading and executing the profitable growth and relationships with global systems integrators such as HP and Fujitsu, as well as regional channel partnerships.
