Logicalis UK appoints Bob Swallow managing director

Director of company

Logicalis UK has named its sales director Bob Swallow as its new managing director following a period of restructuring at the business.

The firm claims Swallow (pictured) will “steer the restructured and re-energised business through the next phase of planned growth.”

Prior to joining Logicalis the exec held senior sales positions at Dimension Data and Recite, as well as management roles at Datapoint and Chess Telecom.

Mark Rogers, CEO for Logicalis Group says the MSP has restructured “to meet the burgeoning needs of businesses looking to gain competitive advantage through digital transformation.

“I’m confident that Bob is the right man to lead the UK team as we move into this new phase of growth,” he adds.

“We’re seeing a decisive change in leadership priorities across the world. We understand that prioritising digital transformation is front of mind for many progressive-thinking organisations, and therefore we’ve spent the past 12-18 months adapting our own business to support and serve our customers on their digital transformation journeys,” says Swallow.

“We’ve got a clear focus and go-to-market strategy and we’re delivering against it. This year our focus is on making Every Customer a Reference, and to achieve this, we anticipate growth in our core portfolio of solutions and services, investment in disruptive technologies and services, the simplification of our business processes, to retain and attract the best people and skills in the industry and drive service transformation to ensure we meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.”

Other appointments during the re-jig include Paul Crilly, who took the role of UK finance director in November 2015, and the promotion of Natalie Matthews to operations director.
