Kelway has made yet another acquisition in the form of managed services specialist ISC Computers.
With 280 employees and annual revenues of £54m, ISC Computers specialises in private cloud and desktop virtualisation.
The acquisition rounds off a year of strong growth for Kelway. With forecasted organic growth of £55m, Kelway will end the financial year in March 2011 with revenues approaching £250m, a 40 percent increase on the previous year. The VAR says its purchase of ISC Computers will further bolster its predicted annualised revenues to in excess of £300m.
“Until now a small number of dominant players have controlled a majority stake in the ICT solutions and services market, limiting the choice for enterprises,” says Phil Doye, CEO of Kelway. “We believe Kelway now has the necessary capabilities and scale to offer a viable alternative.”
“We have a commitment to maintain agility and the highest standards of service for our partners and clients and are making significant investments to substantially enhance our services portfolio,” adds Dan Laws, managing director of Kelway. “ISC’s strong customer base, vendor relationships and specialisations are an ideal fit for Kelway.”
“Kelway’s acquisition of ISC Computers plc presents an excellent opportunity for our clients, partners and staff,” comments Simon Lawless, sales director of ISC Computers. “Kelway’s reputation precedes them. Through rapid growth they’ve maintained their position at the forefront of client service and emerging technologies. ISC Computers plc brings strong vendor relationships and expertise in specialist managed services and this, coupled with Kelway’s existing capabilities, will ensure synergistic growth for Kelway. Our clients will continue to receive the high standards of service they are accustomed to but will now have the added benefit of Kelway’s expertise in ICT strategy and end-to-end project management.”
