CodeClan re-launches partner programme to match employers with grads
The programme will encourage more businesses to get involved in networking opportunties

CodeClan has re-launched its partner programme, aimed at matching Scottish businesses with talent, whether graduates or trained professionals.
CodeClan's updated programme comprises three elements: encouraging partners to get involved with networking, digital talks and matchmaking events, and help train professionals with the skills required in the company's Professional Software Development (PSD) course. The programme will also engage with Scottish businesses to match professionals with job openings.
The digital skills training academy currently has 228 business partners and wants to reward the companies that develop their own extensions of CodeClan's services. It hopes that by re-launching its partner programme, it'll also be able to attract more of Scotland businesses to join its scheme.
"In digital technology, the one constant is change," Melinda Matthews-Clarkson, CEO at CodeClan, said. "New technologies, new business opportunities and whole new markets can appear and evolve incredibly quickly.
"We too have changed and evolved, primarily through listening to and understanding our partners and the challenges they face. That's why we transform careers in order to help Scotland innovate."
She explained the company's revamped partner programme will help to increase the engagement between its partners to create a more interactive and open environment. This, Matthews-Clarkson said, will ensure Scotland's digital economy can stay ahead of the curve.
"With CodeClan, we found that there were students available who had been working in the technologies that we were wanting to work in, as well as having that grounding of having worked in a workplace before," CodeClan partner Castlight's technical product and platform manager Scott McKeand said. "So, the students have come in, settled in immediately and are a great part of our team."
