Software company ServiceNow has been named the best place to work in the UK by employee reviews site Glassdoor.
AndDigital, a London-based IT consultancy firm, and Salesforce completed the top three list as technology firms dominated Glassdoor’s annual employer rankings for 2022.
Of the 50 companies listed, 19 were digital or tech-focused organisations. ServiceNow was rated strongly by its own staff for its positive culture, growth opportunities, and standard of in-house training.
The software provider is an American company, based in Santa Clara, California, that develops cloud computing platforms for enterprise workflows. The firm was founded in 2004 and has offices across the world, including two in the UK in London and Staines.
"ServiceNow embodies diversity, inclusion, belonging, sustainable living, work-life balance, and fun," one employee said on the company's blog. "We all work hard, but management supports us to be the best we can be. I've worked in a lot of industries and types of jobs, and this is the best company I've been a part of."
The list is ranked by an algorithm that analyses reviews on the Glassdoor website, and the 2022 list is based on reviews submitted between 20 October 2020 and 18 October 2021.

To be eligible for consideration, employers had to receive at least 30 ratings for nine workplace attributes - overall company rating, career opportunities, compensation and benefits, culture and values, diversity and inclusion, senior management, work-life balance, recommendation to a friend and six-month business outlook - and the ratings are displayed to the nearest tenth for simplicity's sake.
Third-placed Salesforce was one of only four firms to appear on all five of Glassdoor's regional lists which included France, Germany and the US. Microsoft, Google and SAP were the other three companies to be highly ranked by employees across the globe.
Although it made the top ten list in the UK, Meta - formerly Facebook - dropped 36 places in the US, from 11th to 47th, after a year of controversy.
