IT security reseller Accumuli plc (LON:ACM) has bolstered it’s Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) portfolio with the acquisition of Cambridge-based MSP Signify Solutions Ltd for £2.6m.
Signify provides a secure alternative to passwords enable remote access to systems and information by delivering 2FA as a hosted or cloud service.
Signify will bring 282 customers to Accumuli, covering vertical markets such as technology and telecoms, manufacturing and legal, and the public sector and healthcare.
According to the firm, Signify “fits closely” with it’s existing portfolio, and will allow Accumuli to promote and cross-sell Signify’s authentication services to its wider client base and vice versa.

Signify employs approximately 20 people at its offices in Histon, Cambridge. Dave Abraham, CEO and significant shareholder, will remain with the business as a consultant to during the transition. All other executive and operational management of the business will remain in place post completion.

In February Accumuli sold its DDoS software business, Webscreen, to Juniper Networks for £6.3m.
