Apogee on recruitment drive to fill new offices

Recruitment of people represented as wooden blocks

Apogee is on a recruitment drive in line with its UK expansion.

The MSP has taken on 30 new members of staff so far in 2016, and says it has another 20 vacancies to fill across sales, service and business support functions.

Apogee recently announced that its UK turnover leapt 31 percent from £68m in 2014 to £89m in 2015, excluding the eight months of trading the Balreed business did last year prior to being acquired by Apogee. (Once Balreed’s pre-acquisition turnover is included the newly consolidated Apogee Group UK turnover climbed on a pro-forma basis to £112m, an increase of 65 percent on the previous year.)

Last week the firm opened a new regional hub in Cardiff to support clients of its managed services and production print systems across Wales. This follows a new Scottish hub in East Kilbride, which opened its doors last month.

Jason Collins, joint CEO at Apogee, says its “exciting times” for Apogee. “Our independent portfolio and quality of pro-active managed services is helping us win new clients in all markets and we need to increase our headcount to ensure we provide the best level of service to our clients.”

Bob Flynn, Apogee’s national recruitment manager is looking to recruit new staff in 20 roles across the organisation, including finance support roles, sales managers, client training officers, engineers and customer service experts.
