Synergix moves in at Midwich

future

AV specialist distributor Midwich is ramping up support for its auto ID resellers that will see the firm move its dedicated division, Synergix, in to its HQ in Norfolk.

Midwich acquired Synergix in 2008. It says the firm will remain a specialist division, promoting auto ID products, EPOS, mobile computing and data collection technologies to the auto ID and IT channel. Midwich says it also plans to build on Synergix’s vendor portfolio, introduce a strong internal sales and management team and to provide more value services to its customer base.

Steve Fay, general sales manager at Midwich comments: “Moving Synergix to the Midwich head office in Diss enables us to support our customers better, work more strategically on growing our auto ID division and meets with the needs of our manufacturer partners. We are passionately committed to our auto id division and excited by the future opportunities.”

“Synergix… has been a key part of our UK distribution model for several years, both as a supplier to the traditional Auto ID and EPOS reseller community,” says Mike Pitt, at print vendor Zebra (NASDAQ: ZBRA). “This move should enable [Midwich] to improve its offerings to both sets of resellers.”

The distributor’s portfolio includes Casio, Brother, Zebra, Honeywell, Partner Tech, Unitech and Toshiba TEC.
