Qualitest underlines expansion with opening of London HQ
The software testing and quality assurance specialist is capitalising on its worldwide growth
Qualitest has announced the opening of its headquarters in central London, as the software testing and quality assurance specialist looks to capitalise on a period of worldwide growth.
Based close to the capital’s Liverpool Street station, the HQ will serve as a central location with easy access to Qualitest’s US, Israel, India and Romanian offices, while also being on the doorstep of prominent existing and prospective clients, the company said.
Designed to facilitate “collaborative conversation” between teams, the new office includes breakout spaces, an auditorium, spacious meeting rooms, as well as an open-plan kitchen to bring its London-based employees together.
“Having a state-of-the-art global headquarters is a significant step for Qualitest as we continue to expand our global base,” said Norm Merritt, CEO at Qualitest. “London remains a global hotspot for technology and innovation, and we look forward to the new possibilities it will bring.”
Following a recent $420 billion acquisition from Bridgepoint and subsequent injection of capital, Qualitest now expects to accelerate its acquisition strategy and global expansion.
In fact, the firm revealed it is looking to more than double the amount of quality engineers in the UK over the next three years, having signed new contracts with leading companies across telecommunications, insurance, banking government and cybersecurity sectors in recent months.
The new London headquarters will serve as a hub for this EMEA expansion, with Qualitest expecting significant future growth in terms of clients, headcount and revenue.

“Qualitest’s capabilities are London’s best kept QA secret,” commented Brian Shea, managing director for the firm’s UK and Europe section. “Moving the headquarters to London begins an exciting phase of development for our corporate and EMEA teams.
“Capitalising on the traction of our recent client wins, we expect to create hundreds of new jobs in the software testing market, and advance London as a central hub for Quality Engineering on the world’s stage.”
