Dell appoints Rola Dagher as head of global channel
Dagher will replace Joyce Mullen who is leaving the company after 21 years
Dell has announced the appointment of Rola Dagher as its new global channel chief, who will lead the tech firm’s global partner enablement program.
Reporting to Bill Scannell, Dell’s president of global sales and customer operations, Dagher begins her new role on 7th September following a three-year spell away from the business as president of Cisco Systems Canada.
“Rola is passionate about partners, and we’re excited to have her at the helm of a channel business that has grown to deliver $52B in orders revenue annually while driving greater clarity and predictability of engagement for our partners,” Scannell commented.
Before leaving Dell for Cisco three years ago, Dagher held sales and leadership roles in Dell’s Enterprise segment and Infrastructure Solutions Group. Prior to that, she spent 13 years helping to lead the channel at Bell Canada.
Dagher takes over from Joyce Mullen, who announced back in July that she was drawing the curtain on her 21-year career at Dell.
“My commitment is to listen, learn and lead through our partners to deliver best-in-class transformational solutions and a digital-first customer experience,” Dagher said. “I’m looking forward to building upon our deep relationships with partners and leading this incredible organisation to further success.”
Alongside the appointment, the company has also announced a reshuffle of its channel structure, aligning the channel with core sales teams in each region – a move which it says will offer partners better support and predictability of engagement.

Channel sales will now be aligned to Dell’s North America and International sales leaders, John Byrne and Aongus Hegarty. The firm is also introducing a new International Channel Lead, Diego Majdalani, who will report to Hegarty.
Regional channel leads across Latin America, EMEA, APJ and Greater China will continue in their current roles, reporting to Majdalani, with tighter alignment to Dagher. North America also continues with its channel lead, reporting into John Byrne, Dell said.
The new appointment comes three months after the company announced a hiring and salary freeze to cope with the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, and just three weeks after a round of company job cuts said to have hit 6% of its workforce.
