EfficientIP enhances channel programme with overhauled initiative
The network security vendor will aim to help partners better serve digital transformation efforts
Network security and automation solutions provider EfficientIP has announced an overhaul to its UK channel initiative, as the firm looks to help partners better serve their customers’ business transformation project needs.
With a simplified onboarding process and teams trained to the “highest level of expertise”, the company’s Smart Partner Program will allow businesses to deliver faster, more advanced products and services designed to tackle data protection, mobility and cloud challenges in the enterprise, it said.
In addition to EfficientIP’s range of integration capabilities and network security products, partners also receive technical training across its DDI offerings, rewarding incentive programmes, access to sales and technical resources, sales lead development, as well as value-added support services.
The initiative will also move forward under the leadership of industry veteran Gary Bootland, who joins the firm as its new channel manager for Northern Europe.
Tasked with developing and executing regional channel strategy, Bootland will educate partners and resellers on EfficientIP’s innovative technologies in order to simplify the management and reinforce protection of critical network services for customers.
“It’s an increasingly threatening landscape organisations are operating in today,” Bootland commented. “DDI is without doubt essential to protecting networks, yet often goes overlooked. This is despite research showing network attacks have risen in cost by 57%.
“As customers undergo digital transformation to adapt, I see tremendous opportunity to grow the Northern European business through the channel.”

Arriving with more than 20 years of network technology and partner program experience, Bootland joins the business from Portnox, where he focused on building pre-existing channel and vendor relationships, leading teams through plan development, as well as partner identification and onboarding.
“EfficientIP continues to grow as it educates new markets on the increasingly-critical need for DDI solutions to secure and automate networks,” noted Scott Beardmore, Regional Sales Director at EfficientIP. “The channel is a natural progression for EfficientIP and I’m personally very pleased to welcome Gary Bootland as he helps us accelerate our channel sales.
“Gained through years of experience, his in-depth knowledge and expertise in channel strategy will help us build and strengthen our long-term, fruitful business partner relationships.”
