Commvault unveils “most profitable” partner programme to date
The Partner Advantage programme is designed to make it easier to do business with Commvault

Data backup and recovery specialist Commvault has announced a global partner programme, which the firm has dubbed the simplest, most profitable partner initiative in company history.
Designed to make it easier to do business with Commvault, the new Partner Advantage programme introduces more incentives, new revenue opportunities and a faster path to profitability for partners.
The scheme’s tools and capabilities will also help partners accelerate business, expand the path to multiple revenue streams, as well as consistently win more business, the company said.
With the programme’s more focused and profitable financial rewards, partners now have access to rebates at higher percentages, a more lucrative and flexible year-end bonus programme, additional business development fund investments and improved deal registration benefits.
"We've listened to our partners and customers and built a stronger foundation for the mutual success of Commvault and its worldwide partner network based directly on their feedback," said Riccardo Di Blasio, Commvault’s Chief Revenue Officer. "The key objective for us is to make it easier and more beneficial for partners to do business with Commvault.
“We're committed to our partner-first strategy and this program represents the simplest, most transparent and financially rewarding partner program in Commvault's history."
A typical Commvault MarketBuilder has the potential to earn an average 2.5 times payout increase on a year-over-year basis, Commvault highlighted, while a typical distribution partner that helps secure new and repeat business can earn an average 1.65 times payout increase year-over-year.

The firm has also improved the partner experience with easier access to training, sales enablement, marketing materials, and real-time support, while program elements such as tier progression, simplified quoting, easier deal registration and deal protection have also been introduced.
Available now, the Partner Advantage programme offers businesses four potential partner tracks: Distributor, Solution Provider, Global System Integrator and Alliances, as well as Service Provider.
The announced enhancements currently centre on the Distributor and Solution Provider partners, Commvault said, with improvements to the other categories to be “unveiled later this year”.
