Nuvias teams up with Zoom in Europe
Company also becomes a master agent for the video communications vendor
Nuvias UC, the unified communications arm of the Nuvias Group, has announced a new European partnership with Zoom, as well as its appointment as master agent for the video communications vendor.
As part of the move, the firm also unveiled new Zoom Room bundles that consist of Zoom Room-compatible hardware from Poly, Zoom licenses and white labelled installation and support services.
Ultimately, Nuvias UC's new master agency status means EMEA channel partners will now be able to deliver the full suite of Zoom products as approved agents for the first time – enabling businesses to deliver products such as Zoom Phone, Zoom Webinars, Zoom Rooms and Zoom Meetings to their customers, the company said.
"Zoom is the leader in the unified communications field and when you add Nuvias UC's technical expertise and services along with the hardware bundles, it's a no-brainer," commented Ravi Patel, EMEA Channel Leader at Zoom. "We're looking forward to seeing how both companies and our channel partners grow from this partnership.”
Nuvias UC operates as the Unified Communications Practice of the pan-EMEA Nuvias Group, which is built on the award-winning UC distributor SIPHON. The practise brings together a portfolio of market-leading vendors to create unique UC solutions that address changing channel needs, the distributor says.
Communications firm Zoom becomes the first vendor within a new master agency business model for Nuvia UC, which gets channel partners acting as sub-agents on a referral basis as opposed to a direct resale model, the firm explained.
"We're proud to onboard Zoom within our expanding portfolio. This further endorses our position in enabling the Channel to leverage new opportunities across Europe," said Nuvias UC CEO Steve Harris.
