VPN services provider ExpressVPN and laptop maker Dynabook have announced a new global partnership which aims to provide customers with “essential” internet protection through VPN services.
The collaboration will see ExpressVPN preinstalled on all new and future Dynabook PCs, starting with the firm’s new Satellite Pro L50, originally launched back in December 2019.
As part of the agreement, users will also receive a free 30-day trial to the VPN provider’s services, which the pair says will provide them with crucial security and privacy protection right out of the box.
It’s the first time Dynabook, formerly known as Toshiba, has teamed up with a VPN provider. The firm says the addition of ExpressVPN will help its global customers secure their internet traffic and guard their online activity – particularly when using public Wi-Fi hotspots such as those at airports, hotels and shared working spaces.

Dynabook appointed ExpressVPN as its official VPN provider after a rigorous selection process, the firm said. The laptop manufacturer’s process included conducting “thorough tests” on the provider’s software, as well as consideration of factors such as security, reliability, speed, ease-of-use, privacy policy, backend architecture and more.
