Snom brings Lee Fletcher onboard as new UK channel manager

Shaking hands

Snom has appointed Lee Fletcher as channel manager for the UK and Ireland, as the telephony solution provider looks to further its ambitions in the region.

Bringing fifteen years of experience in the telecom sector, Fletcher will be responsible for the management of Snom’s distributors across the UK. Prior to joining the company, he worked as business channel development manager at Yealink, as well as a sales specialist for Lenovo.

The move marks another step forward for the firm’s growing channel sales team, following the appointment of Lee Underwood, also UK channel manager, earlier this year. Together, the pair will be the direct contacts for distributors, carriers, ITSPs and partners in the UK and Ireland.

“I’m extremely excited to be working as one of Snom’s channel managers in the UK and Ireland,” Fletcher commented. “Snom has always been a key player in the industry and has an exceptional portfolio of products.

“From hardware to services, Snom is able to meet the needs of its customers. I’ve really enjoyed meeting some of our partners, distributors and resellers and can’t wait to see what the future holds with the business.”

Founded in Berlin back in 1997, Snom specialises in manufacturing professional and business Voice-over-IP (VoIP) technology. Having grown into an internationally recognised brand in the two decades since, the firm attributes its success to a combination of “first class technology” and “local know-how”.

Now, this latest expansion of its UK team will ensure the business can continue offering such a high level of local support to its partners across the region, it said.

“We are delighted to have Lee Fletcher join the Snom UK team,” said Fabio Albanini, head of international sales and managing director of Snom Italy. “His wealth of channel experience will no doubt be a great asset in helping us reach the ambitious targets we have set ourselves in the region.”
