Document management software vendor Office Gemini has launched a reseller recruitment drive as part of its strategy to grow sales outside of the US.

The firm says it is “eager to strengthen its product distribution network in the UK”. Says Office Gemini’s CEO, Boris Roy: “We are interested in partnering with resellers who have experience selling to small scale government departments and SMEs, but also in the education sector (third-level colleges, universities, private schools), and local government.

“We’re also keen on forging partnerships with distributors who sell to the transportation, law and health sectors,” he adds.

Gemini’s portfolio comprises Dokmee document management software and its image and data capture software, Diamond Vision. The vendor, which has its European HQ in Paris, already partners with Xerox, with Diamond Vision included in its Visioneer scanning packages.

However, the firm is hoping to get its first channel partners on board with 45 percent margin on every sale, and up to 50 percent if they achieve a monthly turnover of more than £7,000.

Office Gemini offers product training and support throughout the sales cycle, which it says all certified resellers will be required to participate in.

The reseller sign-up fee is £2,400 for the first year and £500 per year thereafter. Certified resellers will receive marketing and advertising support, sales and technical documentation, demo versions and technical support.
