Webroot launches certification programme for SecureAnywhere partners
Partners can become certified as professionals or technicians
Webroot has launched a worldwide certification programme for SecureAnywhere, giving MSPs, VARs and other partners take advantage of the solution with its endpoint protection features.
Two self-certification programmes - one for professionals and one for technicians - will help build partner knowledge of the endpoint security solution, ensuring they are best placed to sell in to customers and increase revenues.
“With a significant shortage of security expertise in the marketplace, Webroot is committed to providing our partners with the knowledge and tools they need to implement the security solutions today's IT environment demands," said Charles Tomeo, vice president of Worldwide Business Sales at Webroot.
"Partners will find they can become more self-sufficient with this certification, which will translate into better results and an increased bottom line.”
It takes just an hour to become certified in the professional stream, while those wishing to take on the technician certification will spend two hours to complete the process, helping them deploy, manage, and troubleshoot customer implementations more effectively.
The process will also provide partners with the resources they need to succeed, including the Webroot IP test tool, which significantly cuts down the time it takes for the partner to solve problems if any arise while the customer is using SecureAnywhere.
Webroot added that if at least one employee in the organisation obtains a sales certification, whether in the professional or technical stream, the entire company is able to operate as a Webroot Certified Partner.
