Work OS firm monday.com marks growth with new London office

Work operating system (Work OS) provider monday.com has cut the ribbon on a new London office, which it says will act as its headquarters in Europe as it continues to grow.

The firm’s cloud-based Work OS platform is a process management tool that enables organisations of any size to create the tools and processes they require using no-code/low-code building blocks.

As the overall collaboration software segment has expanded this year due to remote and hybrid working, so too has monday.com. The company has more than tripled its UK revenue over 2020 and now reaches over 13,000 customers across the country.

To help drive this growth further, monday.com said it plans to double its number of new employees in Fitzrovia, London, over the next 12 months, with the firm currently hiring for new roles in IT, consulting, marketing, and partnerships, as well as alliances.

“The expansion in the UK market is another key phase in monday.com’s continued growth and marks the company’s first office directly serving the European market,” commented Will Hale, Northern European Leader at monday.com.

“We’re thrilled to welcome new customers and partners and to build out our thriving team in London, allowing more companies to excel and grow with monday.com Work OS.”

To further support channel growth, the company revealed it is also creating a partner infrastructure and fostering a self-sufficient ecosystem, which is underpinned by strategic partnerships in the UK.

To date, the business has teamed up with over 85 channel partners across 45 countries around the world – and counts the likes of Uber, Marriott Hotel, PayPal, BBC Studios, and Ocado among its customers.

In its latest earnings report, monday.com announced revenue of $83 million, marking a 95% year-on-year increase. With its new UK expansion, the firm said it is already working with local partners such as Provident CRM and Enable Services – and plans to grow its UK partnerships by 70% in 2022.

“We’re very excited to onboard new partners that understand the local market and use monday.com to fit their needs, build their own unique solutions on top of monday.com, and to be our true partners in democratising the power of software,” said Naveed Malik, Regional Director EMEA at monday.com.

“Broadening our presence in the UK will help us grow our local partner ecosystem to more than double in the year ahead and further expand in Europe.”
