Maindec and CSA Waverley have merged their operations and moving forward will be known as MCSA.

The new brand has been in the works since Maindec bought CSA Waverley more than two years ago, according to the firm.

“Over the last few years we have been extending our service range across the Maindec and CSA Waverley brands. After researching how to make these offerings clearer and easier for our customers to understand, we decided to focus our communications and sales efforts through a single MCSA brand,” comments Paul Timms, managing director of MCSA Group (pictured).

“The MCSA name is a natural evolution that recognises the contribution and legacy of the existing brands – by combining ‘MCS’ from Maindec Computer Solutions with the ‘CSA’ in CSA Waverley. This new name will continue to build on the proud 35 year heritage and strengths of the existing brands and enable us to move forward - whilst maintaining our strong customer ethos and the development of new IT services.”

Bucks-based MCSA says it is planning further, “significant” additions to its service portfolio, including fixed and wireless networking, managed service options and maintenance support. Internally, it says it will continue its staff development plans which include providing apprenticeships, undergraduate and graduate opportunities – as well as investments in career development for existing staff.
