Fastly overhauls partner programme to boost channel presence
The streamlined initiative now includes a new tier structure, as well as fresh partner incentives

Edge cloud platform provider Fastly has unveiled the latest iteration of its partner programme, which it says will expand and simplify solution delivery through its channel network.
The new programme has been streamlined to provide greater flexibility, support, and incentives to VARs, system integrators, MSPs and MSSPs, agencies, and consultants.
It’s been built around a new tiered model that groups partners into Member, Silver, Gold, and Platinum status, with access to resources such as training, marketing support, sales enablement, as well as simplified pricing and packaging options.
Fastly says this new structure opens up additional benefits, incentives, and rewards based on partner investment and engagement.
“Our partners are critical to Fastly’s growth and success, so we’ve designed a programme that makes it easier for them to win more business while ensuring customers get the value and quality they expect,” said Emily Friedberg, group vice president of global partnerships at Fastly.
“More than ever, customers are looking to deliver the fastest online experiences possible, while also improving site performance, enhancing security, and empowering innovation at global scale. That’s why we’ve made it simpler for partners to deliver a complete solution through Fastly’s edge cloud platform.”
US-based Fastly specialises in providing a programmable edge cloud platform that helps businesses deliver speedy online experiences, while also improving performance and security.

The company says its network architecture is one of the fastest on the planet, enabling developers to deliver secure websites and apps at a global scale, with a quick time-to-market and significant cost savings. The platform is leveraged by a host of global names, including GitHub, Reddit, the New York Times, and more.
Now, with its revamped partner programme, Fastly is aiming to increase availability of the platform in the channel, as well as its full suite of edge compute, delivery, security, and observability solutions.
Existing partners will be automatically enrolled in the new initiative and can access its new range of resources and benefits via its partner portal.

Joshua Jones, VP of sales at long-time Fastly partner Tevora, praised Fastly for changing the way in which the company engages with its partners.
“Fastly really listened to the channel, delivering a robust program that makes it easy to grow our business by helping our customers be faster, more innovative and secure,” he said.
“As a Fastly partner for five years, this new programme is night and day ahead of where it was and takes our engagement with Fastly to a new level. It is not only a game changer for how we work with Fastly, but it will also allow us to offer a broader range of solutions to existing and new customers.”
