Last night, the cream of the UK's cloud industry convened at the OXO2 venue on London's Southbank for the UK Cloud Awards 2017.
The awards, now in their fourth year, are hosted by Cloud Pro in association with the Cloud Industry Forum and were created to champion cloud innovation and celebrate the work of UK companies leading the charge. This year's event was also held in conjunction with headline sponsors Ensono, ScienceLogic, Sungard Availability Services and T-Systems, in addition to award sponsor TechData.

As with previous years, competition was tough with worthy entries aplenty. But the judging panel led by Cloud Pro founding editor Max Cooter had to whittle the entries down to our winners, with just 21 lucky ones walking ome with an award. This year, the UK Cloud Awards' chosen charity was Children's Air Ambulance, which ran a raffle on the night to raise money for the worthy cause.
"When you consider the market only four years ago, the depth and breadth of the UK cloud industry is truly phenomenal," said Alex Hilton, CEO of the CIF.
"The calibre of the entries we received this year serve as an important reminder of the dynamic and forward-looking industry we have in this country. The support shown by the industry demonstrates that the awards are hitting all of the right notes, and we look forward to replicating this success next year."
Paul Franklin, Cloud Pro's publisher, added: "A lot of hard work went into organising the UK Cloud Awards 2017, and we're hugely thankful to our sponsors, Ensono, ScienceLogic, Sungard AS and T-Systems for helping us to make the awards a success. We received an extremely high level of interest this year up on previous years again and it's fair to say that we have earned our place in the tech industry's award calendar. My congratulations to the winners of the night and all of the other finalists."
