The CLOUD Act (Clarifying Lawful Overseas Use of Data) means that US companies are required to disclose any personal or company data that is stored or processed outside of the US without a court order. This CLOUD Act, in targeting all data in addition to personal data, goes against EU GDPR so some companies now have the dilemma of either violating the CLOUD Act or GDPR.
Download this whitepaper to find out whether your company will be affected by the CLOUD Act, how this impacts your business’ GDPR processes and how you can protect your company’s and customers’ data.
