Azlan joins Cisco Cloud Aggregator Programme

Shaking hands

Azlan has joined the Cisco Cloud Aggregator Programme with a focus on recruiting new Cisco (NASDAQ:CSCO) Cloud Services Resellers (CSR) in the UK.

Tech Data’s specialist enterprise business unit will provide Cisco resellers with access to cloud solutions from Cisco-accredited Services Provider partners and support from its own Cloud Services and Cisco teams.

Partners will be able to offer a range of cloud services built on Cisco technology, without having to make any investment in their own dedicated infrastructure. They can also make use of Tech Data’s StreamOne aggregation portal to manage customer usage and automate billing processes.

Explains Joel Chimoindes, European cloud director for Azlan: “Azlan’s role in the cloud is to enable partners to be successful and profitable in the reselling of cloud services. We are doing that by providing them with access to the best products and solutions platforms, alongside enablement services like StreamOne and our own expertise.”

The distributor will look to recruit both existing Cisco partners for the programme and bring in newly-qualified partners who want to become Cisco CSRs, starting the process immediately.

“It’s incumbent on Azlan to provide resellers with the strategic direction and the resources that will enable them to offer cloud services within the overall structure of the Cisco channel ecosystem,” says David Newbould, business leader UK and Ireland, Cloud Services for Azlan. “This is a four-way partnership – one in which Cisco, Azlan, cloud services providers and cloud resellers all have an equally important role to play.”

At its annual Partner Summit today Cisco unveiled seven initial cloud professional services that Edison Peres, SVP of Cisco’s Cloud and Managed Services partner organisation says helps Cloud Resellers by enabling them to “go to their customers and help them understand how they using public cloud today.”
