Nuvias lifts lid on new service division Konekt
New business model aims to sell "easy to consume" technology as a service
Nuvias Unified Communications has announced Konekt, a new and independent division dedicated to next-generation cloud and 'as a service' technologies.
Operating separately from the main Nuvias UC business, Konekt will focus exclusively on providing cloud and services through an “easy-to-consume” wholesale and Master Agency business model.
The division builds upon the development of Hub, Nuvias UC’s multi-tiered online platform for channel partners, and has been designed to help agents and resellers drive growth and find new revenue streams, the pan-EMEA IT distributor said.
“We have always strived to ensure our business is at the forefront of the industry and have constantly been early adopters of new and disruptive technologies,” commented Steve Harris, CEO of Nuvias UC.
Built from the ground up and dedicated to the channel, Nuvias UC’s advanced commerce platform Hub underpins Nuvias UC’s new Konekt division. Through use of the platform, resellers can leverage dynamic and intelligent software, automate billing, deal with master agent referrals, as well as offer a fully co-brandable interface.
Ultimately, the platform enables partners to easily introduce, automate and accelerate their own digital offering, leveraging a host of industry-leading cloud vendors – including Acronis, Zoom, Hellosign and Dropbox Business.
With the new Master Agency business model, partners can also act as sub-agents, working closely with the Konekt team to identify opportunities for the vendor – minimising financial risk and up-front stock costs, while also allowing scalability and a diverse portfolio, Nuvias said.

“Konekt is a further commitment to our partners that we will continue to find new ways for them to access additional revenue streams,” Harris said. “By creating a dedicated, and independent division and a new Master Agent business model, we can help our partners embrace digital transformation, supporting them in the Cloud transition”.
