Dell EMC's certifications aim to recognise partner skills
The four certificates will help channel firms demonstrate their digital transformation credentials
Dell EMC is doubling down on the importance of skilled partners with the launch of new certifications that recognise the skills channel providers possess.
The tech giant has launched four new certifications, covering security, converged architecture, multi-cloud environments and the business implications of introducing cloud to provide transferrable accreditation for practitioners.
“CIOs face two essential talent imperatives with digital transformation – ensuring their IT teams have the right people and that they can acquire the right skills,” said Cushing Anderson, vice president of research firm IDC.
“The Dell EMC transformational certifications can be part of a reliable development roadmap to help organisations bridge skills gaps during every phase of a transformation journey. As part of the Dell EMC Proven Professional certification programme, these certifications help identify and validate IT professionals who combine in-depth technical knowledge with an understanding of the business drivers that fuel digital transformations.”
The highest qualification, Dell EMC Certified Master - Enterprise Architect, verifies that the candidate has the experience and acumen to use digital transformation as a key business driver.
Dell EMC Certified Expert Systems Administrator - Multi-Cloud covers those implementing multi-cloud environments, certifying those who are able to demonstrate the successful management of workloads in such infrastructure, covering Dell EMC and VMware Cloud Provider Partners, Virtustream, Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
Dell EMC Certified Specialist Systems Administrator - Infrastructure Security ensures those applying for this certification take a security-first attitude towards their Dell EMC infrastructure and Dell EMC Certified Associate - Converged Systems and Hybrid Cloud Platforms establishes candidates have the foundational knowledge of such systems, learning through an interactive experience.
