Talend reveals new support features for partners

Talend has revealed it's fully committed to the channel, heavily increasing investment in its global channel programme to ensure partners have all the support they need to build their own businesses.

The cloud business will offer enhanced pre-sales and sales enablement support for its big data, cloud, ISV, VAR and SI partners, meaning they are better placed to sell and deliver full solutions to customers.

“Our partners need our help and we’re heeding their call by increasing our investment in global enablement programs," Rolf Heimes, senior director Alliances, Channel and Partner Programs at Talend said. "The goal of this effort is to take our partners to the next level—similar to advancing a driver from steering a smart car around a parking lot, to driving a stick-shift sports car at top speed along a curvy mountain highway."

New additions to the company's channel programme include extended on-demand training content, delivered in a simpler way, quarterly pre-sales training for partners in all of Talend's regions across the UK that will educate partners about upcoming releases and an enhanced certification programme.

Talend will also host cloud and big data boot camps to help partners understand the importance of the technologies in business roadmaps and live sessions with computer support analysts (CSAs) to answer any questions partners may have from their sales and project delivery processes.

The final addition to the channel programme is Talend's Architect Assist programme, which will allow partners to nominate customer projects for up to two weeks of on-site support from Talend to help roll out new implementations of its technology.

“We believe this initiative will not only help us embrace a broader spectrum of partners globally and therefore have more Talend-trained professionals in the marketplace, but also better assist our customers in achieving their digital transformation goals, faster," Heimes added.
